We acquire the merchandise we sell through closeout and overstock channels in the United States, Italy or elsewhere in Europe. Our merchandise originates from Italian direct factories, store liquidations and outlets, thus ensuring the authenticity of the merchandise we sell. All of the items offered at BagsofMilano.com are not from the current season. Even if the item is still being made by the respective designer, the items we have in stock were not made this year.
After the current season is over, to make room for next season’s items, the leftover stock from the boutiques, retailers or factories is sold through outlets or is liquidated through closeout and overstock channels. This is how, coupled with the fact that we enjoy low overhead costs as an online retailer, we are able to offer great discounts on the merchandise we sell.
Please note: Sometimes you will notice that designer styles offered at BagsofMilano.com are not exactly the same as the current models on the shelf at a retailer. The reason is, designers sell different models of items in different countries around the world. Our suppliers may have purchased items from an overstock agent in Italy or elsewhere in Europe. These specific items may differ from the models originally offered outside of Europe, or they may have not been previously offered outside of Europe at all. And, items being made for this season typically are not exactly like the models made in previous seasons. Designers purposely change some characteristics of the items they make; such as, silver hardware to gold hardware, calfskin leather to lambskin leather, suede lining to canvas lining, etc. All of the items offered at BagsofMilano.com at discount prices are styles from past season(s) collections.
The products posted and sold on BagsofMilano.com are guaranteed to be 100% authentic—complete with their dust bags, tags, authenticity cards, care cards, boxes and any other material which may come with the merchandise (please see product description for what applies to each individual product).
